Large Contemporary Garden, South Cotswolds

We were excited to be asked to create a contemporary garden to compliment this imposing large Grade II listed property set in one acre of grounds.

The new garden includes a large paved entertaining area with outdoor kitchen under a roof, a relaxing dipping pool, a formal shaped lawn with self-binding gravel path and deep planting beds filled with ornamental grasses and perennials providing interest throughout the seasons, a woodland garden on a slope with a path and seating area, and a kitchen garden with orchard.

A large, gravelled drive and parking area with turning circle flanked by pleached trees compliments the impressive façade of the recently renovated house.

We kept the hard landscaping palette simple by using honey-coloured Limestone paving slabs with matching setts to break up the large space while exploring texture by contrasting sawn and tumbled versions. Composite decking around the pool enhanced the contemporary feel of the new design.

When completed this will be a great place to entertain family and friends and party into the night.
